CASA-HAVANA
Watch on YouTube
In memory of my brothers, Carlos and Ernesto Vergara, who died without ever knowing a free and democratic Cuba.
Casa Havana is a dramatic dance-theater story of three siblings, a girlfriend and their mother that examines the bonds of family love, romantic relationships, and the dynamics between young people full of dreams—and the painful departure of a son who chooses to leave. Set in the Cuba of 2025, the mood ranges from sadness and fear to a celebration of Cuban rhythms and community joy!
