Tea-time, is a gathering of several friends around a spacious table where the craziest situations
occur. The dancers display grace, cunning, and rhythmic flair, accompanied by the suggestive
and rich symphonic music of Mozart. The piece explores the possibilities offered by everyday
objects a table, chairs, cups, plates, and spoons, used as scenic elements. Tea-Time seeks to
connect with our inner child to achieve a moment of humor and validate spontaneity and a sense
of freedom as necessary springs for life.
Premier: March 13-16 at the Asolo Repertory Theatre/Cook Theatre, FSU Center for the
Performing Arts
